Re: the title. Yeah, it just seemed to fit. I'd been reading about that concept in Jack Kerouac's _Some of the Dharma_ around the time I wrote this haiku, and it seemed to fit. Although I wouldn't be able to rationally explain *how*. Which is what poetry is all about, I guess.Kimberly Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04584721272444293736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849401352351397822.post-33430262515355230812013-01-29T08:16:01.945-08:002013-01-29T08:16:01.945-08:00thanks for your comment. This haiku is an attempt to retrieve a "lost" haiku I wrote that I'd published on my previous blog, that's now defunct. And there were some haiku on there that I never wrote down in my journal. So they're gone. Appropriate this one is "gone", I suppose. Anyway, I liked the "original" version better, but can't remember how it went! I only remember the moment.Kimberly Collinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04584721272444293736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7849401352351397822.post-9802628141098301882013-01-28T13:51:17.390-08:002013-01-28T13:51:17.390-08:00This is wonderful, the title is so perfect--not a ...This is wonderful, the title is so perfect--not a frame and not an explanation, but just what a title can be, a kind of midrash on the poem. I love capturing moments of connection without violating them.
