I like this so much--it's a mystery I don't want to solve in its glimpse of a connection between two people that matters to them both. I love capturing moments of connection without violating them.
thanks for your comment. I like the same thing - seeing people, strangers especially, make profound connections. This haiku is an attempt to retrieve a "lost" haiku I wrote that I'd published on my previous blog, that's now defunct. And there were some haiku on there that I never wrote down in my journal. So they're gone. Appropriate this one is "gone", I suppose. Anyway, I liked the "original" version better, but can't remember how it went! I only remember the moment.
